Job Description

We are currently seeking an outstanding candidate to develop, manage and lead key sales initiatives across the AP region. As a key member of the AP Sales Operations team, the primary focus of this role will be to partner with all cross-functional teams to drive awareness internally of the various Value Added Services (VAS) that Visa offers to its clients and provide a single view of VAS’s “earn and burn” in client deals. VAS sales is a key measure of Visa’s future growth and is a core metric in our global and regional annual scorecards. Success for the business is an increased share of value added services in client deals and their timely delivery.

This role is best suited for a candidate who has a strategic mindset, is numerically savvy, keen to learn and can seamlessly collaborate across sales and functional teams. This role reports into Sr. Director, AP Sales Operations, and will be based at Visa's regional headquarters in Singapore.

Job Scope
Sales Initiatives Manager is a new role within the AP Sales Operations team and has the mandate to drive awareness and sales of Visa’s VAS in AP. The role will initially focus on setting up the foundational infrastructure for the AP Sales organization that encompasses VAS integration in deals, educating the sales teams on available capabilities, partnering with the finance team to setup the required tracking infrastructure and providing periodic reporting to the sales leadership teams. Core deliverables are as below:

  • Develop an integrated view of VAS sales across Asia Pacific that includes developing the tracking infrastructure and providing periodic reporting as required.
  • Champion the uptake of VAS in client deals through driving awareness of the services available on new or existing internal platforms like Compass.
  • Be the voice of VAS as part of the Account Strategy and Deal Advisory service that the AP Sales Operations team provides to country sales teams

To be successful in this role, the candidate will be required to extensively collaborate with various cross functional teams like Finance, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Marketing & Product in addition to the country sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Ability to define strategic needs of the business and provide appropriate management reporting to senior leadership team
  • Experience in leading, directing and facilitating complex projects that drive change management in the organization and promote sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Strong management skills, appropriate to fast-paced business environment. Able to influence key members of the organization, and effectively collaborate across multiple teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications skills - capable of developing well-structured communications and delivering presentations to large audiences
  • Experience across multiple countries and cultures, ideally within a complex, matrix management organization
  • Prior experience in the banking/financial services sector knowledge of card payments industry, its products, services and technologies is a plus.


Education and Experience:

  • Strong academic credentials, with an advanced degree
  • 8 years of progressively responsible business experience in project management, sales operations, business planning or client-facing roles
  • Prior experience in advisory roles including management reporting and sales training is an added advantage.
