Job Description

We are currently looking for MBA interns to support the team on Cross-Border growth strategy and execution.  The ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual with previous business experience.

Typical projects may include:

·        How should we integrate and package the right mix of Visa’s products, marketing campaigns, pricing, etc. to build a compelling Cross-Border proposition?

·        How do we increase preference for Visa payment methods for XB eCommerce purchases?

·        How do we structure a partnership with an emerging Fintech player that has some interesting ideas to boost Cross-Border volumes?

·        How do we execute on delivering a new marketing campaign focused on targeted merchant offers in international destinations?

 

Responsibilities:

·        Play an integral role on a team of experienced professionals in growing Cross-Border business across Travel, eCommerce, Remittance and B2B segments. Conduct research and data analysis on external and internal databases to develop and test hypotheses on how to grow Cross-Border volumes

·        Develop plan of action and work with stakeholders across markets around the world to execute on developed strategies for Cross-Border business growth

·        Develop client-facing presentations to share Visa’s ideas and value proposition on new products, solutions, and/or marketing campaigns related to Cross-Border

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Pursuing a MBA, graduating December 2020 or later
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent client-facing communication, story-telling and presentation skills with ability to articulate findings in action-driven recommendations
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to process and summarize large amounts of data into key strategic insights
  • Ability to form hypotheses on issue root causes and validate thinking quickly using data
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting a plus
  • Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional

  • Strong intellectual curiosity to understand the root cause of issues and how to drive value for clients
  • Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools
  • An interest in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending a plus
