What's it all about?

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VC&A) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s clients, including both financial institutions and merchants.

The South Eastern Europe (SEE) Consulting Practice within VC&A provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s issuers, acquirers and merchants in the region. We apply our deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities drive growth and improve profitability.

Visa Managed Services is a new initiative undertaken by Visa Consulting & Analytics, whereby Visa will be deploying a team of resources to key clients. The Sr. Consultant will serve as the VMS lead in a key client of Visa in Turkey

The team is looking for a Data Scientist to join our consulting practice and play a key role delivering a high impact project for one of Visa’s key clients.  If you think you could support Visa as a Data Scientist, we want to hear from you – together, let’s make Visa a great place to work.

What we expect of you day to day...

• Being an integral member of the client team

• Analyze transactional data to find improvement points in terms of customers cross-border spending patterns

• Deploy Visa solutions such as Cross-border dashboard, Travel Predict and drive promotion campaigns to boost cross-border revenues

• Identify most valuable frequently travelling customers and those at risk of leaving

• Liase with Visa Data Science team to implement relevant solutions to ICC

   

• Delivers reports and presentations communicating recommended approaches, often with the support of Consultants and Analysts in preparing these deliverables.

What we're after...

• Educated to Bachelor's degree (Economics, enginerring, analytics, business related fields), or hold equivalent professional experience

• Advanced data skills including retrieval, processing and modelling of large amount of datasets

• Good understanding of statistical and predictive algorithms including machine learning and deep learning methodologies

• Strong Business Analysis Skills (research and analysis of market level data)

• Commercial Acumen – being able to spot an opportunity and drive value for Visa and the Client

• Self-starter and attention to detail

• Ability to solve business problems through data driven methodologies

• Technology mindset, curious, up-to-date with digital trends, fintechs and applications

• Fluent in written and spoken English, fluent/native Hebrew is a must
