Job Description

Visa’s Executive Talent Acquisition team have a great opportunity for a true research specialist to join our expanding team.

Reporting to the global head of Executive TA, this role will hold key relationships supporting our executive recruiters, senior HR and business stakeholders. 

As a search specialist this role will research for leadership talent across a variety of functional skills and business verticals – more than a linkedin search we are looking to map talent across North America and the globe to stay ahead in the identification of high performing Talent.

Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Development

Contributes to the start-up phase of searches by participating in client kick-off meetings with the Executive Recruiter and assisting in development of search strategy and target company lists.

Gathers relevant information regarding appropriate industries, target companies and profiles, including identifying potential prospects, sources and networks to engage with.

Aware of activities and changes in general business environment and industry specifically, keeping team members appraised of relevant developments in the marketplace.

Adds to the teams candidate pool expertise by continually identifying and introducing new talent with a focus on presenting and maintain high quality diverse talent pools.

Conducts interviews and recommendation of senior level talent assessing against both Visa leadership principles and a competency assessment matrix

Customer Relationship Management

Partners with the Executive Recruiter to present agreed level of qualified candidates to each client, contributing to the preparation of position specifications, candidate presentations and reference reports in line with standard operating procedures, and any further documentation as agreed with clients.

Prepares information for client progress reports/meetings by collaborating with team members to provide an informed perspective on prospects/candidates and how they stack up against selection criteria outlined by the stakeholder

Anticipates what is required to bring the search to closure, supplying additional information as appropriate, such as industry trends, market findings, and reactions to the opportunity and compensation data gained during the course of a search.

-          Measure, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of how Visa finds, engages, and recruits exec talent;

-          Conceptualize and deliver recruiting metrics/KPIs as well as periodic and ad-hoc reports to support accountability and transparency for the exec recruiting process and to measure recruiting performance;

-          Define and measure quality standards and controls to enhance exec TA candidate experience  (with particular emphasis on internals and referrals);

-          Responsible for exec recruiting data accuracy and integrity and enforcement of OFCCP (and other) compliance;

-          Develop exec talent analysis function; create data points for decision makers; evolve analytics function to provide forecasting capabilities through predictive analyses;

-          Establish clear roles for process handoff and information sharing; identify process bottlenecks, investigate root causes, propose and implement process – and technology -  improvements;

-          Primary exec TA liaison re: implementation of new global TA programs, policies, procedures, and related audits; (every time Thuli and team roll out changes…)

-           Primary exec TA interface w/ finance and accounting for invoice approvals, financial reporting and budgeting; (Julia Au-Yeung and Paula Chambers)

-           Manage relationships with exec search firm partners; (crossing t’s and dotting I’s)

-          Mentor exec recruiting support team;

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Extensive sourcing or recruiting experience within an executive search firm and/or in-house team coupled with a strong commercial and business based background.

Demonstrated experience building diverse teams at the Vice President level and above

Experience using talent and market insights and data to influence executive-level audiences

Outstanding teamwork and multitasking skills

Possess an extensive knowledge of and excitement for the payments technology space

Strong attention to detail and organization

Adept at building successful relationships with clients as well as candidates and have the ability to understand their business and individual needs

Highly articulate and able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner

Exceptional levels of curiosity for business and talent across a range of skills and industries.

Proven project delivery experience across multiple forms of Talent research including Market mapping and talent intelligence, skills and diversity profiling

Additional Information

Travel Requirements:

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements: 

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
