The Global ATM Network Product Office leads all aspects of the Visa ATM Business, which includes devising key market strategies, conducting complex analysis, and creating new opportunities focused on long term revenue growth and increasing market share. The day-to-day management of the ATM business includes direct oversight of a complex offering that contributes over $1.0B in annual revenue to Visa Inc, interfaces within all divisions and geographies across the company and is a core offering to clients worldwide. Specifically, in key markets, the ATM channel serves as a very important banking channel for Visa clients and continues to expand beyond its traditional role as primarily a cash dispensing device and more of an everyday banking center with such features as intelligent deposit, and multi account selection transfers and bill payments.

Job Description

The ATM Product Analyst will develop compliance programs using data analytics, in order to ensure Visa/Plus Global ATM’s transactions are in  compliance with the Visa and Plus products and platforms globally.  The team also works collaboratively with issuing and acquiring clients to support their ATM related product launches and innovations. The position will be based in Foster City, California and will report to the Director, ATM Product Operations. The individual will act as a subject matter expert on compliance globally.

  • Work with cross functional organizations across Visa to establish best practices and identify opportunities to improve compliance process flow and structure

  • Deliver projects on time and within scope with an in-depth knowledge of big data and cutting edge data mining techniques as well as the use of predictive, classification and alternate analytic algorithms for modeling and segmentation.  These analyses are foundational to corroborate or refute stated hypotheses and are incorporated in the final client-facing solutions

  • Define detailed analytic scope and methodology, and creating analytic plan

  • Execute on the analytic plan with appropriate data mining and analytic techniques

  • Perform QA on data and deliverables by analysts and own deliverables

  • Ensure all project documentation is up to date and all projects are reviewed per analytic plan

  • Ensuring project delivery within timelines and budget requirements

  • TRAVEL REQUIREMENT :

    This position requires the incumbent may travel for work up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1 year of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 or more years of experience in data science or project management,

  • Results oriented, highly organized, and must, must be focused on delivering innovative analytics work

  • Strong customer oriented mindset to support business operations, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of projects and business problems

  • Strong collaboration skills are required.  The candidate must be able to manage projects in collaboration with product owners who will be responsible for the core strategies.  The candidate must be adept at finding common ground among different points of view.

  • Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple disparate projects in parallel

  • Enjoys and environment of investigation, fact-finding and validation.

  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively

Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
