Job Description


•    Serve as a focal point for strategic planning and business performance tracking, work closely with corporate strategy and FP&A team
•    Provide strong thought leadership as it relates to growth strategies, deliver a high standard of performance monitoring (market share, revenue drivers), maintain an in-depth understanding of industry dynamics and associated implications on China P&L
•    Be a key advisor and thought partner to China business team of various functions to facilitate delivery of the short-term financial targets as well as long-term growth targets


•    Provide thought leadership to the business in the delivery of financial targets
      -    Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process for topline drivers; coordinate bottom-up inputs from client-facing functions to deep dive outlook at account level
     -    Maintain a high standard of performance monitoring (issuing / acquiring market share, revenue drivers), call out risks / opportunities on a timely basis, support senior management on Monthly Business Reviews
     -    Participate the multi-year strategic planning by delivering market insights and financial perspectives
     -    Support business team on ad-hoc projects such as product launch planning, portfolio performance analysis
•    Maintain an in-depth understanding of marketplace dynamics, provide implications for competitive actions or market developments
     -    Maintain a high-standard and timely intelligence knowledge on macro trends and competitive insights
     -    Proactively identify and assess competitive moves with strategic and financial indicators
     -    Provide POV / implications for competitive actions or market developments


•    Recognized bachelor degree in business / economics / finance, MBA preferred
•    At least 8 years of experience with a recognized, performance-driven multi-national company
•    Fact-based, business-acumen, details-oriented, quantitative storytelling in a structured way  
•    Willing to work under pressure and tight timeline
•    Familiar with excel and powerpoint, VBA macro is a plus
•    Excellent English proficiency
•    Knowledge of the payments industry, in particular the credit/debit card business within a banking or eCommerce environment, is highly desirable

•    Prior experience successfully communicating with, influencing and presenting to senior-level executives
•    Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple initiatives with tight timelines
•    International experience ideally within a complex, matrix management organization
•    Strategic consulting experience is a plus
