We offer a range of branded payment product platforms, which our financial institution clients use to develop and offer credit, charge, deferred debit, prepaid and cash access programs to cardholders. The Issuer Processing Quality Assurance team provide support for Prepaid platform which is a multi-tiered application. The team focuses on developing automation scripts and Rest base API solutions to enable issuers to leverage our applications. This includes managing system requirements, design, development, integration, quality assurance, implementation and maintenance of Prepaid applications. There will be interaction with customers and key stakeholders from various departments.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5 or more years of experience managing a team
7-10 years of work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or
6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or
Advanced degree is preferred
Experience in Management, Coaching, Mentoring
Professional work experience in a Quality Assurance role or working in collaboration with a QA Team, implementing and applying industry best practices to design detailed test scripts and execution against those scripts
Experience in Automation standards and approach
A strong understanding of Team Culture
Experience with QA testing tools such as HP ALM and Jira is a plus
Working knowledge of SDLC and experience in Test Execution including manual end-to-end regression testing and evaluation of test results
Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate to management
A demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and sustain a high level of performance when scrutinized
The ability to self-govern, to be flexible, to prioritize and manage their own time to meet tight program deadlines
Strong internal customer relationships are essential and this position will work with Business Partners, internal staff, external vendors and system integrators on a daily basis to ensure quality assurance is performed in alignment with global initiatives and requirements across the enterprise
Experience with electronic payment and Financial systems is a nice-to-have
play a pivotal role to partner with the application Support and Development teams at Visa to ensure appropriate levels of quality assurance that meet Visa’s standards.
Align with global initiatives, enhancements, and day to day operational Production defects. Tasks may include but are not inclusive of managing deadlines
Successful project delivery of QA test script development and execution adhering to Visa’s internal Testing Management Methodologies and industry best practices.
Promote a standardization of QA processes and a discipline of QA testing throughout the team u sing Visa’s TMM, assist to develop, execute, and standardize test plans.
Guide team on deliveries and be a key contributor for conceptual estimates, schedules, and risk management.
Manage defects from identification to completion.
Assist to standardize reporting and metrics on deliverables by the QA team.
Partnering with staff deployed globally, including direct staff, vendors, and offshore partners.
Understand application and platform dependencies and help define QA environment and infrastructure needs.
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
