Job Description

You will be primarily responsible for supporting Technology portfolio management activities, including management of program Approval-to-Spend (ATS) process and governance of program/project management activities to ensure internal compliance. You will interact with many cross-functional stakeholders, including various Technology teams, Finance, and many Business function leads. You will report to the Sr. Director of Technology Planning and Business Operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • You will review and provide feedback of all Approval-to-Spend documents to uphold content quality and ensure executive-readiness of all related materials / content.  Responsibilities include coordination across program stakeholders to drive closure of issues, ensure alignment, and obtain upfront required approvals prior to the formal submittal to the Technology Portfolio Investment Committee or designated approval body for review and official approval

  • You will complete recurring internal audits to ensure accuracy and data integrity of Approval-to-Spend documentation completed by other Business Analysts in the team after program funding approval is received from the Technology Portfolio Investment Committee (or designated approval body).  Responsibilities include raising any issues surfaced from the audit to drive immediate corrections.

  • You will complete draft of ATS Point of View document for program funding requests to Technology Portfolio Investment Committee

  • You will provide Subject Matter Expertise and represent Technology Portfolio Management team during system enhancement efforts, including direct involvement to provide requirements pre-UAT and complete all required UATs.

  • You will continuously upkeep procedural documents (i.e. SOP) reflecting all current processes managed within Technology Portfolio Management team

  • You will be required to support any ad hoc analysis as needed and highly encouraged to continuously implement process improvements where appropriate

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business analytics, reporting, and data visualization.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with an attention to detail

  • Ability to summarize and communicate key financial information and business strategy at an executive level

  • Ability to work independently with strong time management with sense of urgency and ability to execute on multiple concurrent deliverables

  • Comfortable with one or more reporting systems such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. to develop dashboards

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Payments and/or Technology industry a plus

  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels

  • Comfortable with one or more reporting systems such as SQL, MS Access and Analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE, etc. to develop dashboards 

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.

  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred.

  • Working knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle Hyperion or SAP preferred.
