Visa’s Global Sales Enablement Team is responsible for shaping the vision and executing the strategy for building transformational sales capabilities, including tools, materials and insights that will help accelerate the commercialization of Visa’s products and solutions for merchants and acquirers.

We are seeking a Senior Director who can take on this high-impact role that cuts across the sales, product and operations organizations, partner with cross-functional stakeholders and executives to drive meaningful change, lead and inspire direct reports, and is ready for significant leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

How you will make an impact:

  • You’ll build and drive a robust global commercialization program for GMS&A in partnership with regional sales, product and operations teams,

  • Be responsible for designing an innovative process to capture the voice of the customer and inject it in the development of merchant and acquirer products and solutions,

  • Develop insights and recommendations into the critical opportunities to delight our merchants and acquirers,

  • Articulate and quantify those opportunities appropriately so other teams can develop solutions and products, which address those opportunities in a profitable way,

  • Work with sales to define vertical specific functional requirements for priority opportunities in order to influence solutions roadmap,

  • Be responsible for the last mile of the GMSA go-to-market process by coordinating the development of vertical-specific & use-case specific quantitative value propositions and sales materials,

  • Pro-actively share commercialization best practices globally and work with regional teams to facilitate their deployment,

  • Demonstrate your passion for transforming strategic intent into a “coalition of the willing” with a sense of purpose and bring challenging cross-function efforts to life,

  • Help fuel organizational success by elevating key wins and challenges to your sponsors—allowing them to keep their finger on the pulse of the organization and do what they do best... knock down barriers,

  • Focus your astute leadership skills into efforts that build a well-run, cohesive and effective team,

  • Act as the catalyst for getting an organizational dialog going that inspires, influences and motivates our teams. Driving collaboration among the teams is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD); or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 15-18 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD or PhD)

  • Your experience includes a strong sales enablement component in a consultative sales environment

  • You might be a former strategy consultant who left because your vibe is “doing change” not “talking about change”

  • You have prior experience in payments and/or fintech

  • You are a MS Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce ninja

  • You are self-motivated and highly driven. You have get-things-done in your DNA.

  • Multi-tasking and juggling is your jam, and prioritization butters your bread.

  • You value relationships and bring passion and energy to everything you do.

  • You can distill complexity and data down and make it easily digested.  You love to tell stories backed by data

  • You have great judgement and show grace under pressure.
