Job Description

The Director - Cobrand Partnership Solutions will be responsible for developing cross-client value added content to help build and optimize co-brand portfolios and grow Visa's partner business with select merchant partners. Specific responsibilities include:  developing and utilizing tools/resources to drive co-brand program effectiveness, analyzing portfolios, developing and executing marketing programs, and deepening partner engagement.

The position will work closely with various internal departments, and external merchants and financial institution partners, to optimize portfolio performance through the above initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the value of 3rd party and proprietary Visa research sources to differentiate Visa from competitors as a value added resource for merchant partners. Translate findings into presentations and actionable recommendations. 

  • Support NA-Merchant teams with client business, program renewals and RFP responses.

  • Develop insights to inform Co-brand lifecycle marketing recommendations and optimize portfolios.  Utilize raw data and develop actionable insights to support marketing and portfolio optimization recommendations. Develop graphical and descriptive tools for delivery of data analysis to stakeholders and clients.

  • CPS team lead for co-brand dashboards, including new portfolio dashboard.

  • Partner with AEs and CPS leads to support co-brand programs, including, but not limited to: marketing activity coordination, budget approval and tracking, results analysis, strategic insight development, project management and best practice development.

  • Manage quarterly publication of Co-brand client newsletter.

  • Support CPS team with curated event planning and execution.

  • Coordinate Co-brand cross-client resource updates (e.g. Guidebooks, White Papers, etc.), and support efforts to expand content and expand best practices and case studies.   

  • Manage CPS team status reporting.

  • Collaborate with key internal Visa partners - Legal, Product, Marketing, Financial Institution Sales and Merchant Sales on all applicable initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

10 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of
work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience with Data-Analysis and Insights skills 

  • 3+ years of experience with payment industry and issuer's landscape

  • 3+ years of experience with program management and coordination

  • 3+ years of marketing experience with B2B and/or B2C programs

  • Experience working with external advertising, marketing communications, and experiential agency partners

  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with strong presentation skills, including oral and writing capabilities

  • Proven ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with the Salesforce.com platform is preferred

  • User-Experience with Tableau software or similar experience 

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
