Job Description

What’s it all about?

This role will report to the Head of Business Performance and will:

  • Support Continental Europe operations
  • Collaborate with sales and functions to achieve objectives
  • Drive execution and follow-through through better governance and tools such as scorecards

 

What we expect of you, day to day...

Planning and Governance

  • Help ERLT determine the best KPIs to focus the region on its goals and execute them
  • Help ERLT prioritize and sequence projects using both structure and intuition
  • Support the BP team to plan, develop strategy, and to achieve targets with functions
  • Help establish, track, review regional, functional and market scorecards, identify opportunities, agree actions and set up governance to ensure execution. Embed a culture of performance management.
  • Support planning and execution of budget and annual regional programs for Europe including Client Councils, Visa Forums and Client Events
  • Develop a clear and concise view of regional goals and financial targets; help functions meet them
  • Prepare management reporting and presentations
  • Monitor and respond to QBRs / MYPs / AOP / Country Plans. Focus on variances, trends, issues

 

Process Improvement

  • Develop processes, methods to increase the efficiency of repeatable projects
  • Communicate and train employees on the processes and share best practices
  • Identify overlapping work, duplication, gaps or ways to automate operations

 

Coordination and Committees

  • Participate and roll out activities for committees requiring representation from ERLT including:
  • Visa Rules Committee
  • Coordinate feedback on proposed rule changes from relevant functions and stakeholders across Europe
  • Ensure rule changes are aligned to global and regional priorities
  • Business Continuity Planning
  • New Business Initiative Assessment
  • Coordinate feedback on proposed NBIAs from relevant functions and stakeholders
  • Ensure NBIA proposals are aligned to global and regional priorities
  • Compliance and Ethics Committee
  • Interface between Europe to global headquarters, UKI and Europe for corporate priorities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure highest internal audit ratings. Lead cross-functional/geographic process improvement initiatives

 

Process Improvement

  • Identify and suggest improvement to areas that make a meaningful impact to employee wellbeing, such as an improved benefits structure, inclusive health care, etc.

Qualifications

What we’re after…

•        Experience within a range of markets and/or functions, preferably within a complex matrix organisation

•        Understanding of payments, its products, services and technologies

•        Knowledge of Visa’s business, operations and processes

•        Strategy, planning and business case development

•        Commercial acumen and sound judgment

•        Articulate, concise, clear written and verbal communication

•        Capable of handling complexity and ambiguity

•        Able to build strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate in a matrix organization
