The successful candidate will bring strong experience and understanding of web technologies, API testing and Identity and Access Management to assure software quality in a fast-paced environment. This position will have the responsibility to deliver end-to-end software testing function - from creating test plans, executing test cases, and defect management to UAT and post-implementation support in an Agile development environment. The position will play a crucial role in driving the Test Engineering team’s test-automation and CI/CD strategies. The position will involve independently leading testing projects including assigning and tracking tasks for onshore / offshore full-time and contractor resources. Communication skills are essential as engagement with IT partners and business operations teams will be a significant part of the role.

Basic

• 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

• 12-15 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Experience in translating project and business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Experience in creating high-level test strategy and test plan including defining test environment and test data needs, identifying performance testing needs, defining test-automation strategy, coming up with functional, integration/E2E and regression test strategies
• Experience reporting on test statuses and metrics to project stakeholders and senior management
• Strong experience with JIRA and ALM
• 10 years of experience in Development and/or Software Testing
• 8 years of experience with web applications and web services
• 8 years of experience in delivering on test automation strategy and hands-on scripting
• Experience with Identity and Access Management systems
• Must have strong Browser-testing experience
• Must have strong API-testing experience
• Understanding and experience working with web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, APIs, etc.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle)
• Experience with mobile-browser testing
• Experience with SoapUI
• Strong CI/CD experience (Maven, Jenkins, Artefactory etc.)
• Experience supporting pre-production and production implementations
• Experience interacting with business-teams and coordinating User Acceptance Testing
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Experience working in a cross-functional organization with multiple stakeholders
• Experience working with global technology and business teams
• Excellent presentation skills and confidence in communications
• Broad knowledge and understanding of Visa's products, services, processing, systems, and operations is a plus
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant technical discipline required

Work Hours This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours.

Travel Requirements This position requires the incumbent to travel for work less than 10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
