Job Description

As part of the U.S. Client Marketing team, the marketing manager will be responsible for supporting the development of marketing advisory solutions including the creation and delivery of educational content for use by Visa issuers. The Marketing Manager will engage with teams across Visa and its clients to deliver programs and thought leadership to help grow our clients’ payment card business. These advisory initiatives are expected to assist clients with their key business priorities and drive incremental client and Visa revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and execution of content strategy deliverables to support client education on key marketing topics
  • Support marketing-related project scoping and requirements while aligning with client needs and Visa’s key priorities
  • Apply data-driven approach to marketing recommendations leveraging Visa data and industry research tools to capture/communicate marketing best practices and customer insights and present to clients

  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement marketing projects that leverage the best of Visa resources and expertise  (e.g., with Sales, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Product)
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of marketing projects; manage the day-to-day prioritization of work across multiple projects, deliverables  and stakeholders

  • Demonstrate innovation and creativity on a day-to-day basis through effective problem solving, recommending new ideas and solutions to drive better advisory engagements
  • Manage ad hoc requests from key stakeholders, e.g., clients, Visa senior leadership, etc

  • Support budget forecasting and management

Qualifications

We seek experienced, proactive, high-achieving professionals to build marketing solutions for our clients. Specific requirements are:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required. MBA or other relevant Master's degree preferred.

  • 8+ years business experience, with majority in marketing or consulting roles that involved project management, marketing or business strategy, product launches or planning

  • Experience with issuer marketing and/or payment industry and/or client service experience highly preferred

  • Experience in designing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns (i.e paid social, search engine marketing, paid social, email, direct mail etc.) across the marketing lifecycle (acquisition, usage, retention, loyalty)

  • Strong executive presence and comfort leading discussions with clients

  • Strong analytical skills and feel comfortable with numbers

  • Strong written and in-person communication skills

  • Team player with experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that included a high level of detail and ability to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met

  • Self-motivated. Proactive in asking questions and proposing solutions

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point and Word

  • Willingness to travel – less than 10% of the time
