Job Description

This position is part of the business function FP&A team supporting one of the largest teams at Visa, Inc. Marketing & Communications.  By joining our team you will become our reporting and consolidations subject matter expert. We are an agile, highly visible team that works using a consultative model with business to apply data to business and finance decisions as well as measure performance. We are looking for an ambitious finance professional to join the team supporting this organization. This is a unique opportunity and calls for a focused, hard-working, highly analytical Finance professional. This position offers a great long-term growth potential for someone who wants to work in a business function FP&A team or Corporate FP&A.

  • Consolidate OPEX and Contra revenue reporting across 14 teams ensuring accuracy of submissions and reporting for monthly business and finance reviews as well as Budget, Forecasts and Outlook

  • Provide variance analysis, metrics. Frequently prepares reports and presentations for executive staff

  • Lead and/or participate in various process and reporting improvement projects and initiatives to improve reporting and forecast/budget accuracy, accessibility and relevance of data.  Partner with Finance systems team for process improvements.

  • Engage with business partners to understand and explain all substantial budget/forecast changes to senior management and CORP finance

  • Generate reports and create new ones to help facilitate budget/forecasting process
  • Assist on Ad hoc reports/projects

  • Manage the planning calendar

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of financial analysis work experience including forecasting and budgeting
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver operational excellence and proven time management skills to multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment

  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel along with Microsoft Access experience.  PowerPoint experience required.

  • Attention to detail as #s and reporting must be rock solid

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Prefer experience with Hyperion (not a must have).  Will serve as the functional expert for the system for the entire organization. 

  • Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through the financial
