Job Description

Provide front-end web development expertise guidance to the Marketing Development Team, specifically around the development of content for our Cybersource and Authorize.Net Developer Centers. The initial focus of this role is in developing out content for out Developer Guides using the DITA Open Toolkit and determing and developing the best content type to be used within that Toolkit.


The following are also desirable:
 

  • Exposure to Tag Managers and Analytics Platforms.
  • Experience using an agile development process.
  • Awareness of privacy and personal data protection regulations (GDPR, EU Cookie Law and CASL) along with techniques to implement and maintain compliance.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and AfferEffects.
  • Some ability to do front-end to back-end development using AEM ideally 6.3
  • Familiarity with DITA Open Toolkit.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related web technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in web design and design patterns.
  • Firm understanding of web localization patterns and techniques.
  • Experience in implementing responsive design patterns along with mobile performance and optimization strategies.
  • Proficiency with XML 
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve the same.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Working experience with at least one well-known CMS platform, ideally AEM 6.3.
  • Above average computing skills
  • Ability to work well in a team of skilled software professionals with the ability to build consensus for new practices and technologies.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and to discern the relevancies, applicability, and usefulness of those technologies 
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and solve moderate to complex technical problems.
