Visa’s innovation centers bring people together to learn about what’s happening in the world of commerce and dream about the future. They create an immersive experience where our visitors can tackle their most challenging business problems and uncover new commerce opportunities. They start by exposing clients to human-centered design principles and new technologies that advance commerce in areas such as authentication, digital, security and cloud. Which leads to iteractions with Visa subject-matter experts in a physical space designed to encourage dynamic interaction, real-time experimentation, and rapid prototyping using Visa APIs/SDKs through Visa Developer Platform.

The focus of the London Innovation Center is to create a space for Visa and partners to build together and deep dive into opportunities specific to the European region. It’s about discussing and jointly working on solutions that benefit the wider payments ecosystem, leveraging capabilities and innovation from Visa as well as our partners. 

Here are some cool things our Innovation Centre interns could work on:

• Be hands on in building consumer centric mobile apps, to support our work across Europe, using a range of programming languages
• Create relevant content for trends related to payments, technology and consumers in Europe, including data, demos, videos, PowerPoints, etc.
• Collaborate with the design team to summarize client sessions to share internally at Visa.

Visa are a talented team of 15,000 individuals with unique backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. We’re looking for the next generation of change-agents - dreamers, creatives and trailblazers - who are fascinated by new technology and want to be empowered to change the way business is done.

Therefore, our requirements are few:

• 2018 university graduate, ready to start full-time work ASAP
• Some knowledge of languages such as Java, C# and C++
• Working knowledge of mobile applications, and an enthusiasm for working in this area
• Passion for new technology and data-driven decision making
