Job Description

Visa NYC is searching for a leader who can build a thriving community while delivering impactful business experiences.

The NYC Facilities Manager, reporting to Global Corporate Services Team with a local reporting relationship to the NYC Office Executive Leader, is empowered to assist in local Engagement & Communication efforts with the NYC Leadership Council to help implement an approach that will foster employee community and delight clients and customers while ensuring the space meets the needs of the organization.  The Facilities Manager is also responsible for the delivery of workplace services and office safety & security.

Key responsibilities include:

Facilities Management

  • Being responsible for the activities of outsourced vendors in the delivery of all required workplace services and serve as the primary contact with the local landlord/property management function. This
    includes but is not limited to overseeing all maintenance services such as janitorial, specialty cleaning, pest control, housekeeping and kitchen services.

  • Managing facilities, space planning and security & safety programs at the office and assisting in trouble shooting issues with the various security systems.

  • Overseeing the implementation of established maintenance contracts to make sure such services are performed at the contracted time, term and conditions. Enforcing established service levels keeping in mind the needs of Visa staff.

  • Create CRE BAU and capital budget for the office for approval by CRE management.

  • Responsible for PMs and operations of the east coast hanger workspace located in White Plains NY.  Overseeing all work that needs to be performed at the hanger to maintain a safe working environment for staff

Office Operations

  • Providing support for budgeting processes including annual planning, forecasting and developing recommendations for the office.

  • Creating and maintaining monthly budget summaries to track planned spending and actual expenditures in the finance tools and manage to the approved budget.

  • Creating project documents, proposals and implementation plans.

  • Providing coaching and direction to Office Team staff.

Employee Engagement

  • Assisting the office Leadership Council in planning local events and employee experiences, delivering key outcomes of the office engagement plan ensuring alignment with all key
    stakeholders.

  • Assisting with the NYC Employee Communications plan and creating an informed and engaged workforce.

  • Increasing efficiencies and implementing office management model including implementing self-service options for hoteling Visa executives and employees.

The NYC Facilities Manager needs to demonstrate high client and customer service orientation, innovative problem solving, and efficient process management. This role requires a self-starting leader who is interested in identifying and proactively addressing opportunities to improve stakeholder experiences.

Qualifications

  • Able to simplify complex events or programs.

  • Proficiency in MS Suite.

  • Procurement processes.

  • BA preferred.

  • 5-8 years of professional or corporate experience.
