The Visa Discovery Program is the biggest step you can take to joining our Revolution of Payments Innovation. Throughout your traineeship period at Visa, you will take on meaningful work, get executive exposure and engage in out-of-the-box problem solving. From technology to business, we are looking for people who can innovate, collaborate and drive Visa into the next era of an already rapidly-evolving digital market place. Insight to the team

In Marketing Strategy & Insights, our ambition is to inspire the Marketing Team to evolve into a performance-driven organization that develops strategic plans grounded on meaningful insights to drive Visa’s business goals. We seek to simplify on-going access to data, enabling everyone in marketing to make informed decisions to protect our business and future-proof our brand. 

In this role, you will be able to identify strategic business opportunities and craft data-driven recommendations to top management and multiple teams within marketing. If you are good with numbers, analysis and can tell a story using data, this could be the right traineeship for you.

You will be reporting to Marketing Director, Thailand

Some of the things you may work on as trainee:

  • Identify actionable consumer insights, leveraging available research from internal and external sources
  • Identify potential business opportunities through the analysis of consumer transactional data and social media behavior
  • Identify key risks & opportunities based on competitive and economic environment
  • Lay out recommended marketing strategy, KPIs and expected outcomes for proposed marketing approach
  • Develop goal setting model to help marketeers project the impact of their activities

Qualifications

To apply for traineeship, you would need to be: 

  • An undergraduate student in your 2nd or 3rd year of academic program
  • Be able to work full-time from May to August (at least 10 weeks)
  • Possess appropriate work rights to work in Thailand
  • Understanding of marketing, consumer behaviour and social media platforms
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills - must be able to tell a story based on customers insights and data
  • Good teamwork and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word
