Job Description

If you do and you like to collaborate with similar minded people, the Voice of the Consumer team has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager/Director  based at our Foster City campus.  This person will work across the global and regional Voice of the Consumer teams, and closely with the Marketing teams to design research and drive results.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage all aspects of one of our key marketing and communications strategic measurement platforms (ad effectiveness, brand health, and client satisfaction)

  • Translate data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes

  • Work with regional marketing teams to identify the what, so what, and now what

  • Utilize an adept array of applied market research tools and methods, and continuously innovate approaches to generate differentiating foresight

  • Build strong relationships with business partners and external agencies

  • Synthesize data and information from multiple sources to provide context for the interpretation of results

  • Share knowledge broadly across a global organization

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Consumer Psychology, Consumer Behavior, or related field required; Graduate degree in statistics, market research, psychology, or related field highly desired; MS, MMR preferred

  • 5 – 14 years of experience managing brand & advertising tracking

  • Experience at one or more of the following is required:  technology company, FMCG, ad agency, strategy consulting, or marketing experience (financial services experience is not required)

  • Strong understanding of statistical applications in survey research (e.g., descriptive, parametric and non-parametric statistics and ability to discuss when each is appropriate and pros & cons) including linear regression, LSRL, SEM, and experienced using stats packages (SPSS, SAS)

  • Client-side experience in managing global brand health programs; including attribution analysis, path modeling, driver analysis, goal setting & accomplishment determination

  • Excellent ability to story line clear and compelling presentations for delivery to senior executives

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, teams, and external agencies, and prioritize requests adeptly

  • Outstanding verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact; Must be fluent in English

  • Demonstrated competency in project management discipline and tools; PMP certification desired

  • Strong business acumen; Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills; Ability to manage through ambiguity; Display strong sense of urgency; Someone who gets things done

  • Must be organized, proactive, curious and solution oriented looking for better ways to do things and to contribute added value; Possess strong planning, problem solving, teamwork and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25% (including occasional international travel)
