Job Description

1.    Champion country digital leadership with clients alongside the Country team in collaboration with key internal stakeholders including Products, I&SP (Innovation & Strategic Partnerships), MSS (Merchant Sales & Solutions), Marketing and Analytics to deliver the following:
  a. Deliver Quarterly digital insights and benchmarking dashboard to client senior leadership teams by working closely with all relevant stakeholders to put together relevant communication / presentation materials and be responsible for bringing all relevant assets and global insights to add value to our clients
  b. Leverage on Visa’s full suite of capabilities and insights in partnership with key internal stakeholders to deliver Visa360, digital payment trends, information and application of new products / payment technologies to support clients (including FI’s, non-FI’s and merchants) to better “future proof” their business in a systematic and sustainable approach. Activities include but not limited to quarterly newsletters, digital payments presentations and co-development engagement
  c. Increase client engagement at the senior leadership level to drive market share / shift mindshare and position Visa as the strategic partner of choice for growth and innovation co-development initiatives
  d. Engage with internal functions to coordinate and lead market innovation proof of concept initiatives in conjunction with external partners such as EDB, IDA, ORBA etc to position Visa as a leader in payments
2.    Drive new business opportunity and revenue growth with new non-FI partners to help generate new revenue streams
3.    Work in consultation with the Country Manager and Sales team to identify and prioritize innovation and digital programs with key clients by engaging broader client stakeholders including their innovation labs, mobile / digital teams. Support key clients in shaping their long-term digital roadmap
4.    Work closely with the Government Relations team to deepen partnerships with the regulator and government agencies and deliver on the cashless initiatives aligned with the country goals and the Singapore Smart Nation agenda
5.    Work closely with the Country Manager, Head of Sales to implement Country strategies and with geography BPO/finance team to manage the business planning and budgeting processes for Singapore which includes quarterly business reviews, AOP, MYP, forecasting and other ad-hoc requirements

Qualifications

Professional
•    Recognized degree preferably in Business Management, Economics, Finance or payment
•    Payments / Digital capabilities / Consulting / marketing research experience preferred

Technical
•    Knowledge of payments systems and card industry
•    Digital mindset and adaptive leadership
•    Project management
•    Strong analytical/research skills and ability to navigate Visa’s data systems
•    Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
•    Strong presentation, account management and networking skills
•    Understanding of Visa’s organization structure and people is an advantage

Business
•    Knowledge of the card and payments business
•    Strategic thinking combined with good business acumen
•    Experience in product, sales or business development
•    Result orientated team player
•    Self-starter with a commitment to learning and a sense of curiosity
