Job Description

The Financial Analyst for Revenue Operations, based in Miami, Florida. This role includes Latin America contract and pricing compliance management.

  • Primary Responsibilities

    • Review newly executed Client contracts to assess Visa's contractual pricing obligations

    • Log and maintain key contract terms tracking tool (Access)

    • Prepare complex pricing adjustment calculations (both accrual and cash basis)

    • Provide guidance to the Billing team on appropriate billing system changes related to contracts

    • Develop new and maintain existing financial models to monitor revenue and pricing compliance on a monthly or quarterly basis

    • Maintain and update Client Fee Schedule content. This will require an in depth understanding of pricing changes and collaboration with product owners

       

  • Growth Opportunities

    • Support Account Executives, Pricing Strategy and the Deal team on ad-hoc data analysis and requests

    • Develop in-depth knowledge of Visa core billing and reporting systems

    • Perform ongoing reviews of billing systems, processes and controls through the interpretation of historical financial, operational and transactional data to mitigate the risks of potential billing errors

    • Provide insight and actionable recommendations to Finance Operations to improve billing processes and data integrity

    • Analyze revenue data and prepare customer/product revenue reports for Management

 

Qualifications

 

  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Auditing or Accounting .

    • New Graduate or up to 2 years of relevant work experience (Card payment industry preferred but not required)

    • Advanced skills in both MS Excel and Access

    • Fluent Spanish/Portuguese.

    • Must be comfortable working with a heavy volume of data

    • Strong business analysis/problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and upbeat customer-service attitude

    • Detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment

    • Ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment to drive results

    • Self-motivated and be willing to utilize and learn new technology to solve problems

    • Proficient with other MS Office applications such as Word and Power Point

    • Prior experience with Cognos and Micro Strategy reporting tools is a plus
