Job Description

The role of Director, Human Resources Business Partner for AP is to act as a trusted advisor and business partner to the respective AP functional (to be confirmed) leaders executives, operating as the expert on people and organizational issues. He/she will be key member of the AP HR, AP Functional and HR Leadership team, with a commercially-focused mindset to help translate those issues to human resources capabilities. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating challenging forces in the dynamic payments space and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with significant change; working closely with his/her internal counterparts for successful planning and delivery of HR programs and services to the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership focused on a broad-based and transformational talent agenda designed to recruit, develop and retain the very best innovative talent in the business
• Direct the human resources organization within the respective AP function(s) to develop and execute best practices to promote employee engagement and to enable a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company’s strategic growth
• Provide proactive and strategic guidance and support for organizational planning and development initiatives that align the human resources agenda in support of key business strategies and initiatives in client groups
• Drive an effective client-service HR team that instills company-wide trust and value for the HR function, the ability
• Ensure that strategic human capital goals and initiatives in client groups align as appropriate across the broader organization
• Ensure that human resource costs and services are aligned with organizational goals.
• Leadership – further develop respective functional leadership team & significantly upskill managers.
• Diversity - Develop and formulate D&I strategy & execution plan.
• Learning & Development - Partner with enterprise L&D leveraging learning resources for business function benefit.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ years of human resources experience, with min 8+ year of business partnering with senior executives.
• Proven record of ability to work effectively in a highly-matrixed organization across all levels of an organization.
• Proven ability to operate strategically and have a hands-on approach including building organizational talent and workforce plans
• Possess strong influencing and interpersonal skills, honed in a demanding and high performing work environment.
• A bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or master’s degree, in a related field, is preferred
