Job Description

The Visa brand is one of our company’s greatest assets. We strive for a cohesive and consistent expression of our brand, across all channels and audiences.

Marketing is the steward of the brand. The team focuses on driving awareness, preference and conversion across B2B and B2C. They build the brand, with a client centric approach, by reinforcing emotional affinity via innovation and tangible proof points

Our Communications teams are the voice of Visa. They are brand storytellers, ensuring our vision and mission are lived by our employees and comes to life in the stories we share with the media. They work internally and externally to drive knowledge, engagement and pride to stimulate Visa’s business growth and long term strategic objectives.

We are looking for interns to join our European Marketing and Communications organizations. Some job duties and projects may include:

  • Creation of content to appear on our internal and external communication channels including written copy, video, infographics, social media posts
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from Visa marketing campaigns
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Support planning and execution of internal and external events such as all-staff meetings, leadership off-sites, press events and interviews
  • Develop materials for media engagement activities such as press releases, briefing documents, Q&As, statements 

Qualifications

So what are we looking for in a Marketing and Communications interns?

  • Students graduating in 2019 or later
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, Creative Writing or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media channels
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Highly driven and resourceful 
  • Project management experience with excellent attention to detail
  • A creative, outside-the-box approach
  • Passion for the marketing & communications industry and its best practices
