Job Description
Visa is seeking to hire a University
Intern to be part of the LAC Investment
Planning & Analytics (IPA) Team oversees investments across all LAC
functions to assess and prioritize initiatives, and ensure resources are
allocated efficiently based on the alignment and impact to the business, while
adhering to established processes.
The role calls for a
self-driven, hard-working, highly analytical Finance-oriented student. The
candidate will have exposure to the LAC Finance leadership team and will
participate in the analysis and preparation of key financial processes. This position
will work to streamline the investment review process and establishing a
business case framework for key activities to support management in gauging the
expected outcome of planned activities in a consistent manner across a diverse
portfolio of investments.
Key Responsibilities
Build business case framework to facilitate investment prioritization across multiple initiatives, including financial and non-financial results
Review and document existing Approval to Spend (ATS) Process while identifying streamlining opportunities
Assess current Value-in-Kind approval process, including deployment, to identify opportunity to leverage parallel ATS process
Develop end-user tools and guidelines to expedite approvals, deployment, and measurement of key investments
Qualifications
Undergraduate student with major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field
Demonstrated leadership capabilities to drive key financial processes
Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate results with multiple audiences
Attention to detail and keen sense for accuracy
Advanced skills in MS Excel, database management, Hyperion, SAS and PowerPoint
Exceptional report modeling and data management skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data and organize in a logical and efficient manner
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
Fluency in English and Spanish, Portuguese a plus
