Team Description

Global Merchant Sales and Solutions is a team dedicated to serving the needs of our merchant and acquiring partners. The Global Merchant Sales and Solutions team is focused on ensuring that Merchants prefer Visa. We want our clients to see Visa as a trusted strategic partner that delivers tangible value and is easy to do business with. Our actions are designed to protect and grow payment volume and revenue contributions while increasing the value merchants perceive and balancing the needs of all of our stakeholders.

The graduates joining the Merchant Sales & Solutions team in Reading will work specifically on CyberSource Sales. The CyberSource platform enables merchants to accept and manage payments, mitigate fraud, and secure their payment data.

Job Description

The New Grads hired in Merchant CyberSource Sales & Solutions will work on things like:

  • Execute direct selling to mid-size, enterprise businesses. To achieve sales targets, conduct cold calling of target prospects, manage incoming inquiries from potential customers and generate leads through
    targeted selling.
  • Learn about focus markets and marketing campaigns to align your efforts with defined strategies.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of CyberSource product solutions and develop market awareness in order to communicate authoritatively with colleagues and customers.
  • Contribute to business planning & quarterly business reviews along with marketing initiatives such as campaigns and events.

Qualifications

So what are we looking for in a graduate to join the Sales & Solutions team? 

  • Students graduating in 2018
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's of Master's Degree
  • Fluency in English plus one additional European language
  • Prior internship, placement or work experience in Technology, Start-Up, Sales, Consulting or Banking
  • Self-starters, self-learners and independent thinkers who thrive on taking risks
  • Curious problem solvers with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
  • Focused on providing excellent customer service
