Job Description

The UK Regulatory Policy and Public Affairs team manages Visa’s relationships with the UK Government and
regulators, in particular the Payment Systems Regulator and the Bank of England.
The team regularly communicates with regulators and responds to regular requests for input on regulatory initiatives or requests
for information on a variety of topics. The Regulatory & Public Affairs intern will support the breadth of the team’s work, including preparing for senior level regulatory engagements, responding to regulatory requests and co-ordination and project management of the team’s activities. The role presents a great opportunity for
an individual interested in regulation, government relations or public affairs.



Qualifications

So what are we looking for in Legal and Regulatory & Public Affairs Interns?

  • Students graduating in 2019 or later
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Government Relations, Public Affairs, Humanities, Social Sciences or a related field
  • Interested in pursuing a career in regulation, government relations or public affairs
  • Strong ability to collaborate with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Highly driven and resourceful
  • Project management experience with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
