Job Description

Throughout Visa’s technology organization there are a number of people dedicated to the success of the various business processes through project management. People in these roles may work closely with highly technical people at Visa, however, their work will focus on conducting research for case studies, developing business plans and evaluating various assets in the organization. Establishing an understanding of basic technical and security concepts is key to being effective in capturing business requirements and strategic plans.

Some things you might work on as a graduate in Project Management include:

  • Create leading indicators and scorecards for Technology leadership that reflects the state of key initiatives. 
  • Define, design, develop and implement an enhancement release of an application.
  • Work on delivering projects that support infrastructure including; global networks, cloud computing, remote office re-locations, and managing Data Center operations. 
  • Execute weekly, monthly and quarterly portfolio reporting.
  • Work with key cross-functional stakeholders in Technology to continuously improve processes related to project management.
  • Coordinate project sizing and scoping efforts. 



Qualifications

So what are we looking for in a graduate in Project Management?

  • Students graduating in 2018
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or a related technical field
  • An interest in and knowledge of technology, systems and/or databases
  • Project management experience with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other similar reporting tool a plus
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Highly driven and resourceful
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
