Job Description

Responsible for leading Co-brand strategy and commercial engagements for the AP region by developing the Co-brand Go-to-market strategy, managing the sales pipeline, leading partnership negotiations to deliver committed agreements, leading program implementation and program optimization engagements.

  • Accountable for the design of the Visa AP region Co-brand ‘Go to Market Strategy’, leading the development of a global Co-brand sales strategy and annual business plan.

  • Develop and manage the AP Co-brand sales and program optimization pipeline including the definition and prioritization of the pipeline through collaboration with the Visa market leadership. Lead the tracking and reporting of Co-Brand opportunities.

  • Lead/facilitate new Co-bra nd business development activities with merchants and issuers: prospecting, lead development, and active selling for profitable new Co-brand opportunities

  • Lead negotiations with Co-brand partners that reflect the strategic nature of Co-brand relationships

  • Lead the implementation of new Co-brand programs to successful commercialization

  • Initiate and deliver Co-brand contract renewals with AP Co-brand programs

  • Evaluate and optimize existing Co-brand programs

  • Develop tools and processes for existing clients such as the tracking and delivery of commitments, metric reporting and utilization Salesforce.com

  • Support the expansion of new partnerships through the cross selling of non-Co-brand Visa products and services

Qualifications

  • Extensive payments industry expertise. A minimum of 10 years business experience with related sales and management experience.

  • Deep Co-brand experience, fluent in Co-brand business development and program management best practices along with implications for issuers, networks and merchants.

  • Co-brand issuer and/or merchant experience managing a co brand portfolio P&L; preferably across a variety of AP markets and relevant industries such as airline, retail and ecommerce.

  • Deep knowledge of payment economics, financial controls and legal impacts of contract management.

  • Proven record of accomplishment of successful sales and relationship management with experience developing and managing a pipeline of initiatives and driving commercial results.

  • Demonstrated experience interacting with “C level” executives within client organizations.

  • Proven ability to develop and leverage external and cross-functional relationships.

  • Proven ability negotiating business agreements and ability to develop new business partnerships.

  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement.

  • Consulting experience, consumer loyalty management and/or coalition loyalty experience desired.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Fluent in English. Additional language proficiency desired

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Experience with the Salesfoce.com platform is a preferred.
