Team Description

Visa’s Marketing teams are responsible for shaping Visa’s marketing strategy to drive the commercialization of payment solutions and the use of emerging products among Issuers, Merchants, mobile network operators, developers, new partners and the consumer. Among Marketing’s focus is social strategy, consumer endorsement, global sponsorships like the Olympics and FIFA World Cup, print, digital and television.

Job Description

We are looking for interns to join our Marketing Organization.  Some past job duties and projects have included:

  • Developing case studies from best in class business to business marketing companies to apply learnings to current strategies.
  • Working on the launch of the digital marketing campaign for Visa’s newest product including digital advertising, social media buzz campaigns, co-marketing with merchant and issuer partners and a website re-launch and conduct measurement and analysis to set and track KPIs for the campaign’s performance.
  • Developing and implementing an editorial calendar for Visa’s web presence.
  • Helping manage regional social communities (channels) like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine and Google+ by leveraging knowledge of the Visa social architecture, target audience, and specific social media channel strategies and best practices.

Qualifications

What are we looking for in a Marketing intern?

  • Students graduating fall 2018 or later (unless enrolled to pursue an additional degree in spring 2019)
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Communications, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint plus web design and/or social media channels
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Highly driven and resourceful
  • Project management experience with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical & quantitative skills with an interest in data and analysis
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact
  • Except in exceptional circumstances, undergraduate candidates who will require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future will not be considered for this position
