Summary

The Co-brand Senior Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Latin America (except Brazil) co-brand sales plan in conjunction with all key partners. You'll be the co-brand subject matter expert for the LAC markets and serve as the point of contact for merchants and issuers for co-brand related initiatives. You will be accountable for all co-brand related activities and contractual commitments, and be based in Miami, reporting to the Head of International Co-brand within the Global Partnerships team and work closely with the respective Heads of Merchant Sales & Solutions for Mexico and the GLAC region.

Job Scope
  • You will refine, execute, and lead the co-brand partnership strategy.
  • You'll develop and lead the co-brand sales pipeline with key internal business partners.
  • With a consultative sales approach, you'll lead/facilitate all co-brand business development activities with merchants and issuers: prospecting, lead development and active selling for profitable new co-brand opportunities.
  • You will lead negotiations with co-brand partners to deliver mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Initiate co-brand contract renewal activity with co-brand programs to secure current Visa co-brand volume at acceptable returns.
  • You will evaluate and optimize existing co-brand programs to deliver growth for Visa and its partners.
  • Lead the execution and delivery of co-brand agreements including the program design, product launch, program marketing, and support activities such as analytics and contract management.
  • Manage existing clients including commitment tracking, financial and key metric reporting, management of co-brand materials, and utilization of the Salesforce.com CRM tool where appropriate
  • Expand existing merchant partnerships through the cross selling of non co brand Visa products and services where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with key internal Visa partners - including Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing, Consulting, Financial Institution Sales and Merchant Sales.

Qualifications

Have a relevant Bachelor´s degree required; MBA preferred.

  • You'll need extensive payments industry expertise, knowledge of financial controls and legal impacts of contract management and a minimum of 15 years business experience with related sales and management experience.
  • Have you worked with co-brand issuers and/or merchants in leading a co-brand portfolio P&L; preferably across a variety of North and/or Latin American markets in relevant industries such as airline and retail?
  • Should have a track record of successful sales and relationship management with the ability to interact at the ‘C’ level executives within client organizations.
  • We lead and grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships.
  • You'll negotiate business agreements and developed new business partnerships.
  • We work independently and in collaboration with a high level of success and achievement.
  • Consulting, consumer loyalty management and/or coalition loyalty experience is a plus
  • Do you have excellent written and oral interpersonal skills?
  • Need to be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • We use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
