Job Description
Purpose
Management and implementation of Visa innovative products and solutions marketing campaigns at market level that support business KPIs, the innovative image of Visa and brand objectives
Management and implementation of Visa clients’ marketing campaigns at market level that support the achievement of Visa and clients’ business and Visa brand objectives
Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Areas
Develop and provide realisation of marketing strategies and plans to support innovative products and solutions.
Develop and implement a strategy on innovations and innovative image marketing support on annual basis
Develop and implement integrated marketing plan that work on driving innovations and innovative image on a yearly basis and update quarterly as appropriate
Work to retain and grow Visa’s Financial Institution client business by delivering marketing solutions that maximize revenue and profitability for assigned products and services
Develop; co-ordinate and implement strategic marketing and communication plans designed to meet Financial Institution client and market, including realization of marketing campaigns on behalf of clients
Develop and execute end-to-end marketing (strategy through execution) consulting for assigned Visa products and services for Financial Institution clients
Develop and implement integrated Financial Institution client marketing plan for assigned client business on a yearly basis and update quarterly as appropriate
Earn marketing thought leadership with Financial Institution clients by providing insight driven, data focused and actionable marketing recommendations and solutions for assigned products and services
Continually monitor existing and potential competitor marketing activities to identify new opportunities or highlight potential causes for business concern. Propose opportunities where Visa’s differentiated proposition can be used to counter these competitor threats for both Clients and consumers
Apply analysis of card payment trends, market opportunities, cardholder behaviour to digital/social marketing and plan in order to make strategic recommendations on future business direction.
Work closely with the innovations Visa team providing the team with consumer insights and other marketing insights in order to provide consumer-centric products and solutions development
Work closely with the Business Development Visa team providing best-in-class marketing plans and their implementation in interests of Visa and a client
Develop and implement best-in-class marketing solutions to ensure consistent and effective use for meeting
business objectives and needs
Provide quantitative post-campaign and regular performance analysis in due time and incorporate learnings into future projects.
Provide input to management team and stakeholders to influence development of marketing strategies and program development
Actively support the global brand strategy by ensuring all campaigns comply with the brand strategy and visual and verbal guidelines & Visa policies.
Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and identify areas where these policies and procedures need local adaptation.
Effectively manage all stakeholders responsible for the successful implementation of a campaign including
agencies, suppliers, merchants and banks and others as appropriate
Responsible for briefing the creative and media agencies on all campaigns ensuring to safeguard the Visa brand.
Share best practice and successful programmes with other Visa Regional offices.
Manage the allocated budget for respective assets and activities and ensure all activities are performed within parameters fully an on time in accordance with Visa policies and requirements.
Ensure key stakeholders are fully informed of all campaign activities
Ensure all Global Brand marketing policies and procedures are adhered to and identify areas where these policies and procedures need local adaptation.

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with a marketing foundation
Significant work experience in a blue chip retail or service sector organisation.
Financial services experience would be advantageous
Significant experience in marketing with a strong bias towards delivering successful
domestic and international marketing programmes.
Demonstrated track record in the development and implementation of integrated
campaigns as well as marketing consultancy and agency management
Experience in communications strategy and planning across an international
territory
Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels with all stakeholders
Innovative and creative thinker with a track record of delivery and proven ability
to manage several projects concurrently and see them through from
conception to conclusion
Must have worked in an international environment, familiarity with culture
and values is of paramount importance
Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills are
essential including the ability to work effectively as part of a
multi-functional office team
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, growth orientated work
environment
Must be self-confident and able to think on their feet
Strong personal motivation and commitment
