Job Description

Viral Nation is on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Director of Product Marketing and people manager.  The successful candidate will be the driving force for GTM strategies across multiple solutions products and AI models. You’ll craft positioning and messaging that resonates and inspires action. Develop and execute GTM plans that detail the strategies, demand generation tactics, and budgets required to achieve our acquisition, expansion, and retention goals.

Job Description

  • Create core GTM messaging and positioning that articulate our suite of solutions product vision, value propositions, and capabilities. 
  • Viral Nation will be launching several net new solutions in 2023–this role will oversee the launch and sustained awareness campaigns with PR, Social Media, Partner and Customers.
  • Support strategic sales activities by bringing subject matter expertise, creativity, technical knowledge, and innovation to sales cycles.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our industry, prospects, and customers to ensure that product roadmaps and engineering investments are aligned with customer needs and corporate goals.
  • Work collaboratively to determine effective pricing and packaging strategies informed by market data and customer insights.
  • Develop internal and external assets including white papers, web content, case studies, data sheets, sizzle reels and presentations to support demand generation, and sales efforts.
  • Craft compelling, relatable narratives that ensure our platform is appropriately positioned in integrated marketing programs.
  • Develop prioritized internal and external marketing product roadmaps to effectively communicate product functionality expectations.
  • Influence customer programs to optimize adoption of current and new product features.
  • Educate the market and evangelize Viral Nation’s products and services through participation in industry events, conferences, webinars, analyst relations, etc.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs on an ongoing basis and develop and execute plans for improvement and optimization.
  • Plan and manage the cross-functional execution of product and service launches. 

Qualifications

  • Seven plus years of experience in B2B software product marketing, with at least five years in a market-facing role (e.g., delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting analysis and research)
  • Experience building, driving, and executing strategies across multiple product lines against defined growth targets
  • Proven track record of succeeding in high-paced, challenging entrepreneurial environments
  • Willingness to reach across functions (product, sales, engineering) and influence processes and capabilities
  • Proven track record of successful product launches
  • Excellent people management and diplomacy skills
  • Strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups
  • An attention to detail and an eye for quality 
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills and ability to prove what is – or isn’t—working, and adjust accordingly
  • Degree in business or marketing
