Viral Nation is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a busy team and focus on a variety of roles for the Marketing Agency, Talent Agency and Marketing Tech areas.  Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is a strategic, tactical, and creative individual that will use their experience to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates to identify best in-class talent across all divisions.  

Job Description

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle from drafting job postings, candidate search, screening, selection, references and offer, through to closing and placement

  • Create search strategies and build candidate pipelines for all open roles

  • Draft and prepare offer letters, employment agreements, and other onboarding documentation

  • Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, sourcing, interviews and communication)

  • Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness around the company’s career opportunities

  • Develop a network and database of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates)

  • Manage and further develop our internal and referral program

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure an exceptional candidate experience


  • Minimum of three (3) years of talent acquisition experience working in a high-volume recruitment environment 

  • Proficiency with recruitment software and analytical tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (SmartRecruiter preferred but not required)

  • Must have a university degree, or college diploma, from a reputable academic institution and/or have equivalent work experience

  • Profound knowledge of Marketing and IT industries 

  • Experience managing searches across performance marketing, accounts services, creative, and other marketing/advertising disciplines.

  • Prior executive recruitment experience is an asset
