Job Description

Viral Nation is seeking a CRM Strategist who will oversee our CRM (HubSpot) and its campaigns across all company channels, most importantly email. The CRM Strategist will be responsible for creating campaigns from ideation to implementation to evaluation Viral Nation’s retention marketing strategies. CRM optimization will require a deep understanding of Viral Nation’s business units and the specific KPIs attached to each across various platforms. The CRM Strategist will identify and communicate data and analytics insights that will help shape the company’s content, product and marketing and sales efforts. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize the full lifecycle of CRM campaigns from ideation to implementation to evaluation across email, website and social media.
  • Develop extensive knowledge of our marketing technology stack (HubSpot and other customer data platforms) and our data sources to become a systems expert
  • Collaborate with key content, product, and audience stakeholders to develop an end-to-end marketing strategy that accomplishes set business goals and KPIs
  • Build and execute segmented marketing campaign automations to enhance audience retention 
  • Create customized and personalized email newsletter and mobile campaigns based on location
  • Lead the systematic creation and execution of campaign testing and feedback, and ensure results get shared and implemented
  • Identify and analyze data trends and insights around user needs, pain points and drivers
  • Uncover opportunities to improve reach and retention based on segmentation and various stages of the user lifecycle
  • Serve as a CRM expert, advising key stakeholders on CRM best practices from design, copy and channel

Qualifications

  • HubSpot Expert 
  • 5+ years of experience in email and/or mobile marketing, with expertise in creating and managing marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • In-depth knowledge of segmentation, workflows, data analytics and reporting
  • Strong organizational skills and effective project management
  • Strong understanding of Email Service Providers (preferably HubSpot)
  • Extensive knowledge of data and tracking analytics tools either in CRM or third-party service (ie Google Analytics)
  • Experience in the Marketing/Influencer category is preferable
