The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Viral Nation teams to ensure sound financial stewardship in regards to client billing, receivables, vendor payments and timely reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Billing clients based on estimates
• Create POs and process vendor invoices in a time-sensitive environment
• Process employee expense claims in compliance with Viral Nation policies
• Work with the admin team to code financial transactions
• Follow up with vendors on long outstanding POs for invoices
• Respond to vendors' payment related inquiries
• Document all accounting transactions and maintain the filing system
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned to support finance functions
• Facilitate all client audits at the agency and coordinate paperwork transmittal
• Manage monthly client budget control reports (BCR)
• Work with clients on monthly accruals and year-end reconciliation as needed
• Review draft billing reports, where applicable, to ensure accuracy of unique vital information (i.e. billing vs. MPA approved dollars, PO/MPA #’s, commissions)
• Act as an intermediary between the agency teams and Finance team to ensure billing is provided with the correct monthly spend report by the supplier so they can issue invoices to clients within the billing cycle period

• 3-5 years of Finance management experience, preferably in the Marketing and Advertising industry.
• University Degree or College Diploma from an Accounting or Finance program.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is required
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, proactive, professional, and objective.
• Marketing space knowledge an asset
• Exceptional attention to detail, and impeccable mathematical and analytical skill
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to work proficiently under minimal supervision
• Strong team player
