Vimbeo is a new online marketplace that needs a Brand Ambassador. As a Brand Ambassador, you'll be enthusiastically selling our brand to strangers. You'll have the opportunity to be creative in getting the word out. We'll provide you with all the information you need for letting the world know about Vimbeo and how to get the most out of our marketplace.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting new vendor partners for the marketplace through effective relationship building as well as enthusiastically promoting the brand through social media pages and other channels.

If you love interacting with new people and get excited about the opportunity to create a new brands image, you might be perfect for this position. This is a independent contractor position where you will work remotely on a part time basis, with the potential of turning into a permanent position for the right person.

Brand Ambassador responsibilities and duties

• Recruit new vendor partners for the marketplace through various channels (craft fairs, flea markets, trade shows, social media, networking events & blogs)

• Advise us on content marketing campaigns and product positioning strategy

• Develop social media strategies based on continually evolving metrics and feedback

• Measure the conversion rates and other metrics for ongoing campaigns and make adjustments as necessary

• Represent the brands image in a professional manner to customers & vendor partners

• Create content for our website and social media pages to attract new clients

• The ability to gather feedback from competitors, vendor partners & customers and provide Innovative Insight

Qualifications and skills

• A blog with a large following

• Established & active presence on social media is a + (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest)

• Goal oriented & results driven

• Has ideas and suggests marketplace improvements

• A passion for building and growing relationships

• Must be an effective communicator

• Problem solving

• Must be professional – you'll be the face of Vimbeo

• Must be self-motivated

• A can do attitude

• 2 + years of content writing experience

• Familiarity with social media metric tracking preferred

• 2+ years of sales experience

• 4+ years’ experience in marketing & advertising for a small startup company

• Must be outgoing and vibrant – you enjoy interacting with people
