Job Description

Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain systems and software on-site in Avon, CT office and remotely for branch locations

  • Setup and maintain employee access to equipment, software and web applications

  • Monitor Support Desk for assigned tickets and process based on priority

  • Provide on-site Tier I IT Support to staff in the Avon office

  • Provide remote Tier I IT Support to staff in satellite branches

  • Work with third-party IT vendor for Tier II IT Support

  • Work with third-party telephone vendor to maintain VoIP phone system and eFax

  • Maintain equipment and software by managing updates and software installs

  • Training staff on system upgrades and end-user functionality

  • Computer skills – Proficiency of MS office

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing

  • Proven background in accurate, high volume data entry

  • Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize

  • Able to maintain standards and professionalism during periods of fluctuating workloads

  • Provide professional service to direct customers of Village Mortgage in all interactions.

  • Maintain team standards through supporting other team members in the Underwriting team in achieving their service/quality levels and targets, as required.

  • Build effective working relationships with other team members.

  • Manage daily tasks to ensure business needs are consistently met.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A., B.B.A., B.S., etc.) from a four-year college or university;

  • or three to five years related experience and/or training;

  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Software development experience preferred, but not required

This role is consistently lifting computer equipment, laptops, monitors, etc. The person in this role must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
