Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Technology Support Specialist II oversees and supports all Village Green’s computers, including inventory oversight, imaging with Intune/Autopilot, and purchasing. The associate is also responsible for developing and implementing training and documentation for all applicable technical systems and processes. This position reports to the Director of Technology and provides expert-level recommendations in all areas associated with Village Greens' computer inventory management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure and support the company’s physical computer infrastructure
- Oversight of computer purchase, PO process, and inventory management
- Ensure computer builds conform to industry standards and adhere to company policies
- Provide day-to-day support of all computer hardware and respective software applications used by company personnel and their customers
- Help define and document internal standards, configuration,n and recovery processes for computers and associated operating and application software
- Ensure timely and accurate service levels are always maintained
- Must be a self-starter, comfortable working independently and/or in a team environment
- Must be able to sustain a high rate of effort while working on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Monitor, identify, assess, and tune application software and hardware infrastructure as deemed necessary
- Able to determine the root cause of logical and/or physical software/hardware issues and ensure appropriate mechanisms are in place to resolve complex problems
- Supports and troubleshoots printer, scanner, and copier issues with remote customers.
- Oversee all Endpoint management devices, including Computers, tablets, and Smart Phones.
- Copier Machine ordering and set-up oversight
- Oversee image process for all corporate and site computers through Intune/Autopilot.
- Produce, Develop, and Oversee Technical Training materials through recorded demos.
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to ensure timelines are managed and tracked.
- Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
- Speak to customers via email and phone during troubleshooting of projects and issues.
- Proactively researching and providing recommendations on computer upgrades, both on-site and in our regional offices.

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Solid understanding and practice of direct response techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra and other Microsoft 365 Endpoint management technologies
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- An excellent multi-tasker, communicator, and extremely detail oriented
- Ambitious, creative team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic math skills
- Customer service oriented
- Experience working with networking hardware
