The Yoga Instructor cum Therapist is responsible for conducting professional yoga and wellness sessions while providing therapeutic treatments and wellness services to guests. The role requires a strong understanding of yoga practices, holistic wellness, and therapeutic techniques, with a focus on delivering personalized and high-quality guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group yoga sessions suitable for different fitness levels and guest requirements.
• Assess guests’ wellness needs and recommend appropriate yoga, relaxation, and wellness programs.
• Provide professional therapeutic treatments in accordance with the resort’s standards and approved treatment procedures.
• Guide guests through breathing exercises, meditation, stretching, relaxation, and mindfulness practices.
• Ensure all yoga and therapy sessions are conducted safely and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming treatment and yoga environment.
• Explain the benefits and procedures of treatments and yoga programs to guests.
• Monitor guests during sessions and adjust exercises or treatments according to their comfort and ability.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and guest preferences while respecting confidentiality.
• Promote wellness programs, treatments, and other spa services where appropriate.
• Ensure all equipment, yoga accessories, and treatment areas are properly maintained and sanitized.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and operational procedures of the resort.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and report any concerns to the Spa/Wellness Manager.
• Participate in wellness activities, special events, and promotional programs organized by the resort.
• Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and excellent guest service at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.

• Certification in Yoga Instruction from a recognized institution.
• Relevant certification or training in massage, holistic therapy, or wellness treatments.
• Previous experience as a Yoga Instructor, Wellness Therapist, Spa Therapist, or similar role, preferably in a luxury resort or wellness environment.
• Strong knowledge of yoga techniques, meditation, breathing exercises, and relaxation practices.
• Good knowledge of therapeutic and wellness treatments.
• Good command of English and effective communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and guest-handling skills.
• Physically fit and able to conduct yoga sessions and therapeutic treatments.
