Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing the repair and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This role involves managing maintenance teams, implementing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating with other department, and ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in minimizing downtime, optimizing asset performance, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance team members.
  • Provide guidance, performance feedback, and support to ensure high-quality work.

Preventive Maintenance

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and recommend improvements.

Facility & Equipment Upkeep

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and systems and other machineries equipment.
  • Identify faults and ensure timely repairs and corrective actions.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.

Operational Support

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years Supervisory position in a 4 / 5-star category hotel.
  • Good English skills, both verbal and written to meet business needs.
  • Motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seize opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve personal performance.
  • Flexible and responds quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.
  • Maintain high team focus by showing cooperation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
  • Strong leadership and training skills.
  • Outgoing personality and willing to work for long hours.
