• Oversee all aspects of the watersports department including
• Maintenance of the department’s equipment and infrastructure
• Must be able to motivate and foster team building, and staff development in the department.
• Promote safety when using the equipment in the department Snorkeling gear, and any other equipment that may be used.
• Assist with budget preparation.
• Manage the department’s inventory both quality and quantity
• Ability to handle and resolve customer and Staff complaints and comments.
• To complete all administrative requirements and licenses correctly and on time.
• To prudently manage the resources within budget guidelines
• To ensure that the work area is well maintained and in a good state.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
• Manage staff reviews, by conducting performance appraisals for staff
• Must be knowledgeable about all fire/life-safety procedures and enforce them. 
• Remain current in all updates with regards to new procedures and training. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or 5 years equivalent experience
• Certified Lifeguard
• First Aid & CPR trained and certified
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
• Experience working in a resort environment and leading a team of 20 or more members
