Job Description

  • Provide a positive first impression through warm, welcoming greetings, maintaining a polished and professional appearance at all times.
  • Build lasting guest relationships by demonstrating genuine interest, attentiveness, and engagement throughout the dining experience.
  • Ensure each guest feels valued and comfortable, anticipating needs and addressing requests promptly.
  • Create a refined and elegant ambiance by ensuring table settings, service stations, and dining areas are always prepared according to company standards.
  • Present menus confidently, explaining dishes, pricing, and offering recommendations on food, wines, and cocktails.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly in the correct service order and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide thoughtful wine and beverage suggestions to maximize sales while enhancing the guest experience.
  • Resolve guest concerns or issues with professionalism and efficiency, always seeking a satisfactory solution.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, guidelines, and service procedures, including HACCP food safety standards.
  • Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, handling orders and transactions with precision.
  • Support the restaurant team in maintaining smooth operations, assisting colleagues, and contributing to a harmonious work environment.
  • Adapt quickly to fast-paced and ever-changing service situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Qualifications

  •  2–5 years of fine dining service experience in premium restaurants and/or luxury hotels (5-star standard preferred).
  • Strong understanding of fine dining operations and luxury service etiquette.
  • Ability to explain food, wine, and cocktail menus confidently and clearly.
  • Exceptional guest service skills, professional presentation, and strong communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written (additional languages a plus).
  • Warm, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and service excellence.
  • Strong team player with a passion for hospitality.
