Job Description

Are you passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces? Villa Haven is seeking a dynamic and experienced Garden & Landscaping Manager to lead our landscaping team and enhance the aesthetic appeal of our property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the gardens and landscaped areas of Villa Haven, ensuring they are visually appealing and healthy.
  • Oversee all landscaping projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and maintenance.
  • Manage the landscaping team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the island, including roads and beaches, ensuring an attractive environment for guests and staff.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of resort supplies, ensuring efficient operations and organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align landscaping projects with Villa Haven’s overall vision and strategy.
  • Implement sustainable landscaping practices, promoting environmental stewardship.
  • Schedule regular maintenance and inspections of gardens and outdoor spaces to ensure they remain in top condition.
  • Develop and manage budgets for landscaping projects and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in garden design and landscaping.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in garden design, landscaping, or horticulture, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of plant care, pest management, and landscape maintenance practices.
  • Experience in maintaining cleanliness in outdoor areas, such as roads and beaches.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications in landscaping or horticulture are a plus.
