As our Chef de Partie Russian/Ukrainian Specialist, you will:
- Showcase your expertise in Russian and Ukrainian cuisine, specializing in traditional dishes, spices, and cooking techniques that capture the essence of Russian and Ukrainian culinary heritage.
- Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of authentic Russian and Ukrainian dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, flavor, and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop innovative Russian and Ukrainian menus that celebrate the diversity and richness of these cuisines.
- Mentor and train culinary staff in Russian and Ukrainian cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and traditional recipes to uphold the authenticity and excellence of these cuisines.
- Manage inventory levels, monitor food costs, and optimize kitchen performance to deliver exceptional Russian and Ukrainian dining experiences.
- Stay abreast of Russian and Ukrainian culinary trends, ingredients, and techniques, continuously seeking opportunities for culinary innovation and creativity in these cuisines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-7 years of culinary experience, with at least 3 years specializing in Russian/Ukrainian cuisine as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role.
- Proficiency in a wide range of Russian and Ukrainian cooking techniques, regional cuisines, and traditional recipes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse culinary team.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
