Job Description

  • Plan menus and work out food and labor costs together with the head chef
  • Plan staff rosters and supervise the activities of cooks and assistants
  • Discuss food preparation issues with managers, dietitians and other staff members
  • Order food, kitchen supplies and equipment
  • To build excellent in food quality.
  • Demonstrate techniques to cooks and advise on cooking procedures.
  • Prepare and cook food, of different verities of excellent standard. 
  • Divide food into portions and add gravies, sauces and garnishes
  • Explain and enforce hygiene regulations.
  • Assist in the training program input , select and train staff
  • Supervise in freezing and preserving foods, at the right temperature.
  • To ensure the maximum standard of hygiene in all area of the working place.
  • Under take any other tasks assigned by department in-charge.
  • Loyalty towards job and management

Qualifications

  • Atleast 3 - 5 years of experiance in similar field 
  • Culinary arts degree or equivalent kitchen experience
  • Excellent cooking and food preparation skills
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Communication skills
