Job Description

We are looking for an experienced pantry attendant who will ensure the smooth operation of the pantry and kitchen area by performing a variety of tasks related to pantry operation, cleanliness, and organization. This role contributes to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment while assisting in the restaurant and pantry operation.

  • Wash, clean, wipe, and store food and beverage production and service utensils and equipment, including cutlery and crockery, used in the kitchen and restaurant.
  • Wash, wipe, sweep, and mop the premises of the kitchen and restaurant to maintain the area in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • Assist with preparing workstations, back of the house areas, and assist in preparing food and beverages being taken out to the service areas.
  • Provide assistance in collecting commodities from stores.
  • Assist in taking and maintaining inventories in proper condition.
  • Collect and remove waste from the pantry and food preparation area.
  • Always maintain a good standard of personal hygiene and grooming and apply safe and hygienic work practices whilst on duty.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: 2 year's experience in the field is desired.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Able to work long hours in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Command of the English language, both verbal and written.
