As our Commis Chef, you will:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of Mediterranean dishes, showcasing your knowledge of Mediterranean cooking techniques, flavour profiles, and ingredient selection.
  • Support the grill station with precision and skill, ensuring that grilled specialties are cooked to perfection, seasoned impeccably, and presented beautifully.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create and plate Mediterranean-inspired dishes and grill items that reflect the richness and diversity of Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef to maintain kitchen standards, uphold quality control, and contribute to the development of innovative menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Contribute to kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, station setup, cleanliness, and organisation, to ensure smooth service and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in culinary arts, with exposure to Mediterranean cuisine and grill skills.
  • Familiarity with Mediterranean cooking techniques, grill methods, and flavor combinations.
  • Creativity and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • A genuine interest in Mediterranean cuisine and a desire to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
