Job Description
As the Chef de Partie (Team Restaurant) - Indian Specialty at Villa Haven, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes for our team members. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, contributing to a positive dining experience for our staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, with a strong focus on Indian cuisine.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognised culinary institution.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional specialties.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and creativity in menu preparation, bulk cooking, and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a remote island setting and adapt to a tropical climate.
