Job Description

As a housekeeping supervisor, you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey. You are committed to taking care of the guests from the moment they arrive through their departure.

  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service.
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying the proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests.
  • Ensure team members are informed daily about priorities to personalize service.
  • Training and coaching line-level colleagues.
  • Inspect and assign duties to office assistants, Daily morning brief with all the relevant information.
  • Check the attendance and follow up on maintenance complaints sent to the concerned department.
  • Get the mini bar and consumption items from the main store to Housekeeping and distribute them to the units.
  • Maintain the mini bar and consumption stock; maintain the mini bar bills and office bills.
  • Keep updating all the reports that come from the units; inform them of all necessary information.
  • Check all the reports daily and inform the concerned person.
  • Report to the executive housekeeper on any changes to normal procedures or emergencies.
  • Cooperate with other departments to ensure smoother operations.
  • Update all the necessary information about the hotel and the new procedures to follow.
  • Make a daily work report.
  • Promotes good teamwork among the team members and management.

Qualifications

  • Service focused personality is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
  • Excellent communication skills & a high standard of grooming and presentation
  • Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
