Job Description

The Spa Receptionist's responsibilities include the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments,
checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed. Additionally, assists with transitional cleaning of the spa and relaxation area as needed.
 

  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene as per Araamu spa and the hotel standard.
  • Contributes to the moral and team spirit of the spa by maintain with colleges.
  • To display all the display items, decorate flower bowls & prepared oil burners and make it Functioning.
  • Take care of the spa guest needs. Ensure that supplies are available and that the facilities are kept clean and safe condition at all the time.
  • Welcome, assist and provide correct information to the guest about the products and spa policies.
  • Must be polite, cordial and helpful whilst ascertaining information.
  • Maintain the linen, towels, robes, and toiletries inventory in the changing room. And communicate with the senior supervisor regarding the status of equipment and supply.
  • Should repeat and confirm details of reservation (either during or at the end of the conversation).
  • To ensure that all the treatment distribution & room allocations are doing a correct way and recheck always.
  • Should be leading the guest to the changing room.
  • Provide personalized service including spa tours and offer the guest a facility orientation.
  • The reception desk should always be neat and clean in appearance.
  • The bill should be clearly itemized and correspond to the price list and get signature of the guest.
  • Should check all the departure bills and hand over to the cashier department.
  • Handover the bills and day end report to the cashier and accounts department.
  • Perform any additional duties as May requested by the supervisor or head of the department.
  • Report any observed or known safety hazards, or unsafe practice and procedures to the supervisor
  • Handle and resolve guest issues or complaints according to direction of senior spa Supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Front Desk personnel or as Customer Service representative with proven sales OR 

Minimum of 1 year of employment within a Hotel environment or Spa
